African brass Adinkra* charm/pendant handmade by the ancient technique of metal casting in Ghana’s ethnic Ashanti region. Recycled brass
2 sizes available:

58 mm x 45mm (height x width). the hole is 3-4 mm wide
38 mm x 32 mm(height x width). the hole is 2-2.5 mm wide – these are mostly coppery in appearance
handmade raw brass,
quite rustic

variations occur in size and colour as they are handmade

Adinkra* symbols abound in Ghana and Ivory Coast, where they are used to express social and cultural values and philosophies, among others.

The symbol here known in the local Twi language as “Nkonsonkonson” (chain link) is one of unity, and encourrages one to contribute to the community to keep it strong.4
