African disc beads, handmade in Ghana broken glass beads. Also known as Krobo beads, after the ethnic group famous for making them using traditional techniques

a mix of opaque black and white glass beads were used. Instead of going to waste, broken glass seed beads are turn into new beads
approximate size 10-11 or 12mm diameter 2-3 mm thick, bead hole 2.5-3 mm
variations in size occur due to hand-crafting
