African pendant necklace on black buffalo leather cord, unisex
I used:
1. 2.5mm wide black buffalo leather cord from Griffin in Germany (renowned for quality)
2. brass pendant and clasp handmade in Ghana using the ancient ‘lost wax’ technique of metal casting
3. antique brass-coloured Greek metal findings
The pendant itself is just under 2 inches high and similar width and its meanings is as follows:
Funtunfunefu-Denkyemfunefu (siamese crocodiles) – a symbol of unity and democracy. It is a reminder that tribalism -( by extension, racism?) – and infighting is harmful to everyone.
It comes from Ghana where such symbols are used to express traditional beliefs and philosophy, among others.
They will come in a free bag.
