African Tube Beads, Handmade Recycled Glass, Speckled Grey

grey African beads hand-crafted from used glass items, also known as Krobo beads, from Ghana.

Made using old bead-making technique by the Krobo ethnic tribe with a long history of the trade and for bead-wearing

the design is achieved by layering different colours of glass powder in vertical moulds

approx 20-21mm, long, 11-12mm wide  with 2-3mm holes

dimensions are approximate and variations occur because they are made by hand
