handmade in UK using:
1. tube and disc recycled glass beads from Ghana’s Krobo region in West Africa who use traditional methods
2. recycled brass charms, handmade in Ghana’s Ashanti using the ancient metal casting technique, “lost wax”): Adinkra* Gye Nyame, and cowry (cowries were formerly used as currency in Ghana)
3. German Griffin brand beading elastic, excellent quality
4. Tibetan style antique brass coloured bicone spacers
about 7 inches long
just over half an inch wide at the widest point
Comes in a kraft presenation box (if you’d rather not have teh box, please email me; it will save you some money on postage)

*Adinkra are visual symbols from the Akan tribes of Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa. They represent concepts, original thoughts, and popular proverbs in easily memorable form. They’re also a record of historical events and express traditional attitudes. Gye Nyame (translates ‘except God’) expresses belief in a Supreme Being, God). Cowries
