African brass pendant in Adinkra symbol hand-made Ashanti brass, made using using the ancient ‘lost wax’ method,

the symbol in the local Twi language is “Ananse Ntentan” , the spider’s web. The spider features very much in local folk tales and often portrayed as a clever, creative and ingenious character in the complexities of life. It signifies wisdom, and creativity in life.

the ring is about 4-5 mm wide on the inside
about 46 mm at the widest point

dark gold colour with some coppery patches
small variations in size and colour, as well as  imperfections occur due to hand-crafting – last lot remaining and I will send one from the main photo
